Jessica Settergren, author of Defying Shadows: For Witches and Pagans Battling Cancer and Chronic Illness, will go over some of the tips and tricks to practicing while dealing with the trials of long term treatment.
From adjustments for spellwork to the magical herbs to include during chemotherapy, this event will touch on the topics she covers in depth in her book.
A book signing will follow the presentation.

Jessica Settergren was diagnosed with breast cancer after a routine mammogram and was treated with surgery, chemo, and radiation. She’s been a practicing Pagan since 1996 and discovered there aren’t many cancer support books available from a Pagan perspective. She wrote Defying Shadows hoping her experience would help others.
Jessica lives in the woods with her fabulous husband, a horde of busy teenagers, two huge dogs who insist they fit on laps, and fAngus the bossy tuxedo cat who rules them all.
