Practical Magic is a comprehensive foundation in working witchcraft. You'll begin with the structure beneath every effective spell — the learnable components that determine whether a working lands or dissolves, regardless of tradition, tools, or experience level. From clarifying intention to raising and directing energy to closing a working cleanly, you'll build spells from scratch and troubleshoot them honestly. We cover accessible formats to stock your practical toolkit, and the unglamorous but essential skills: ethics, tracking results, and knowing when to act and when to release.
From spellwork we move into ceremony — not following scripts, but building original ritual from the bones up. You'll learn the universal framework that underpins every effective working, the sensory and spoken language that transforms structure into genuine threshold experience, and how to hold space for both solitary and group practice.
The second half of the course turns outward, to the larger cycles that shape magical timing. We work through the full lunar cycle in depth — all eight phases, including the ones most practitioners overlook — and explore how the moon's movement through the year creates a living calendar of energetic opportunity. We then zoom out further to the eight great turning points of the solar year: the moments where energy peaks, balance shifts, and the veil thins, and the specific magical work that belongs to each one.
