It's that time of year!! CALLING ALL WITCHES TO DANCE!!!
Join us Sunday, May 21 from 1-3pm as we welcome all those who wish to audition to dance around the circle in their best witch's attire and besom (broom) at the 2023 Wolf Hollow Witches Market this October 7th.
We are looking for 2 different kinds of spots to be filled. There is NO FEE to sign up or participate. You will need to be available for rehearsals throughout the summer. Further details will be given at the auditions. Just be sure to bring a broom with you, any house broom will do! The more that apply, the more fun this will be!
1. Sweepers. No dance experience is required, just a joyful spirit!! Any age is welcome for this, so you can do it with your kids! Wear your Halloween costumes or just regular street clothes, as you carry a broom to 'sweep a path' on the way to the stage for the Witches that are coming. "The Witches are coming! The Witches are coming!" Sweep, sweep, sweep, urging people to clear a path for them. It's that easy!
2. Choreographed Dancers. No dance experience is required but natural rhythm is very helpful to follow several choreographed dances that celebrate the energy of Witches! This spot will require your best Witch outfit, hat and besom for the dance. There will also be a dress rehearsal before the event day. Details will given the day of the auditions.
Make it generational and dance with your siblings, parents and grandparents! Celebrate the energy that ties us all together!
