Join us for our August witch crafting class! We'll be making corn husk dolls, a traditional Native American and Appalachian folk craft made from the dried leaves of a corn cob.
A traditional Lammas craft kit for making your own corn husk doll - one of the oldest folk offerings of the harvest season. Each kit includes the husks, twine, and instructions to shape a small figure to place on your altar or hearth. A grounding ritual for first harvest, ancestor work, or slow grief work.
Witch Tip: Name your doll as you tie the final knot and leave it on the altar through the three harvest sabbats — Lammas, Mabon, and Samhain — before returning it to the earth.
