ON THE STAGE

Tylor Jay Santos is a singer/songwriter from Pickering and is a frequent collaborator with the Toronto EDM artist GOVI (who is regularly found on the Apple Music radio show, OVO Sound Radio). In 2021, Tylor released two singles 'Let Go' and "Cassiopeia," the latter of which currently has well over 18k plays on Spotify. These singles eventually led to the release of his 2nd LP, Still Alive, an album that features a wide range of sounds – from Indie Rock, Pop, Alternative and R+B.

Joiya is a Toronto-based R+B singer, songwriter, producer, composer, and DJ. After joining a choir at 6, she grew up taking classical piano and vocal lessons, before finally teaching herself music production and DJing in her teens. She played her first show at Toronto’s once legendary club, The Guvernment when she was 18 and has since gone on to play venues like the Drake Underground, Adelaide Hall, Longboat Hall, and a sold-out Phoenix Concert Theatre. While her brief turn towards electronic music taught her fundamental elements of production, she refined her musical style about two years ago when she returned to her early Soul, Jazz, and R+B influences. With a sound that is sultry, yet raw with emotion, people have compared her to the likes of Aaliyah, H.E.R., and Sabrina Claudio, but somehow still place her in her own distinct category. Her most recent EP, Baptism, has garnered support from Complex, LADYGUNN Magazine, and Euphoria.

Lillian Blue Makin is a 20-year-old, queer alternative hip-hop and folk artist born and raised in Toronto, Canada. Makin's music is an intriguing blend of laid-back rapping, spoken word, and juxtaposing Country Folk influences. Makin explores themes of young love, personal evolution, and identity in her music. Although it is not common to hear of an artist who makes both Hip-Hop and Folk music, the juxtaposing genres come naturally to Lillian. Growing up around country musicians embedded Country, Rock, and Blues, as the music of her roots. Hip-Hop came naturally from Lillian’s love for poetry and clever wording. Makin’s lyricism and recorded music are not the only form of success Lillian has seen with her music; her live shows are also critically acclaimed. Most recently Makin sold out the Drake Underground when they headlined the venue to celebrate the release of their project, this was also Lillian’s first headlining show.
