„Wisłoujście 1628” to kontynuacja cyklu wydarzeń związanych z rekonstrukcją historyczną, które organizujemy od 2017 roku. Dotychczas w naszych inscenizacjach uczestniczyły grupy z Polski, Wielkiej Brytanii, Finlandii, Szwecji, Ukrainy, Czech, Hiszpanii i Niemiec, a także tysiące turystów z kraju i zagranicy.
Dziś tworzymy imprezę z własnym charakterem, klimatem, taką, na której sami chcielibyśmy być – jako rekonstruktorzy i widzowie.
Najogólniej ujmując sprawę, to pragniemy, by w najbliższej przyszłości "Wisłoujście 1628" stało się waszym głównym i ulubionym wydarzeniem historycznym w Polsce i Europie.
📍 Scenariusz
Wojna o ujście Wisły w XVII wieku była częścią konfliktu polsko-szwedzkiego o kontrolę nad handlem bałtyckim. Gdańsk, jako bogate i uprzywilejowane miasto portowe Rzeczypospolitej, bronił dostępu do Wisły i swojego handlu przed flotą szwedzką, wspierając siły króla Zygmunta III Wazy. Strategiczną fortyfikacją ujścia Wisły była - Twierdza Wisłoujście.
Uczestnicy wcielają się w załogę Twierdzy Wisłoujście i wojska Rzeczypospolitej w obliczu szwedzkiego zagrożenia w latach 20. XVII wieku – żołnierzy, oficerów, rzemieślników, markietanki i cywilów. Planowane są potyczki terenowe, manewry i ćwiczenia, a także alarmy całej załogi, gdy wróg zbliży się pod mury.
Niemniej ważny jest też wątek życia codziennego i kultury XVII-wiecznego Gdańska i Europy w postaci koncertów, warsztatów rzemiosł i spotkań edukacyjnych. Podczas wydarzenia uruchamiana jest nasza kuchnia i piekarnia forteczna, otwierana jest karczma, a markietani zachęceni liczną obecnością wojsk przyjeżdżają z miasta oferować swoje towary.

🇬🇧 “Wisłoujście 1628” is the latest instalment in a series of historical re-enactment events that we have been organising since 2017. To date, our re-enactments have featured groups from Poland, the United Kingdom, Finland, Sweden, Ukraine, the Czech Republic, Spain and Germany, as well as thousands of tourists from Poland and abroad.
Today, we are creating an event with its own character and atmosphere – one that we ourselves would love to attend, both as re-enactors and spectators.
To put it simply, our aim is for ‘Wisłoujście 1628’ to become your main and favourite historical event in Poland and Europe in the near future.
📍 The Story
The War for the Vistula Estuary in the 17th century was part of the Polish–Swedish conflict over control of Baltic trade. Gdańsk, as a wealthy and privileged port city of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, defended access to the Vistula and its trade against the Swedish fleet, supporting the forces of King Sigismund III Vasa. The strategic fortification at the mouth of the Vistula was the Wisłoujście Fortress.
Participants take on the roles of the garrison of the Wisłoujście Fortress and the forces of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth in the face of the Swedish threat in the 1620s – soldiers, officers, craftsmen, market women and civilians. Field skirmishes, manoeuvres and drills are planned, as well as full-scale alarms for the entire garrison when the enemy approaches the walls.
Equally important is the theme of everyday life and culture in 17th-century Gdańsk and Europe, brought to life through concerts, craft workshops and educational sessions. During the event, our fortress kitchen and bakery will be in operation, the tavern will be open, and market traders, encouraged by the large military presence, will come from the city to offer their wares.
