Legendary British rock band Wishbone Ash, long associated with performances in arenas seating tens of thousands, takes the Arts Bonita stage in an intimate setting, bringing audiences closer to the pioneering twin lead guitar sound that defines their legacy.
Named among the “Ten Most Important Guitarists in Rock History” by Traffic magazine, and emerging from the progressive rock movement, the band developed a distinctive sound that blends folk, jazz, and R&B, anchored by melodic songwriting and a pioneering twin lead guitar approach that influenced generations of rock musicians. Founding member Andy Powell continues to lead the band alongside longtime bassist Bob Skeat, guitarist Mark Abrahams, and drummer Mike Truscott.
With a loyal international following built through decades of worldwide touring, Wishbone Ash’s catalog includes landmark albums such as Argus, Pilgrimage, and New England, as well as later acclaimed releases including Blue Horizon and Coat of Arms. Their best-selling live album Live Dates remains a cornerstone of their legacy, while projects like the Roadworks live series and the retrospective box set The Vintage Years highlight the band’s depth, longevity, and continued creative momentum.
