About this Event
Over two, separate, two-hour sessions we will write to new prompts from rocks, fossils and earth processes to create our individual reflections on our planet, especially our local Transmanche Geopark area. We will read and respond to poems and prose on geological themes. The event is open to all, and no previous writing experience is necessary, just a willingness to participate. The emphasis is on writing in the moment to capture our most vivid thoughts. This is the 4th Geopoetry Day in Canterbury led by Helen and Victoria.
There is a morning (10.30-12.30) and an afternoon (1.30pm-3.30pm) session with different content. You can book for one or both.
Places limited - booking essential
Helen is a Library Volunteer, coordinating Wise Words for Wellbeing, and a Geologist. She was a participant in Earth Lines.
