Wisdom Table

This gathering is designed to be a collaborative exchange of insights. While your generous support is always appreciated, we are not asking for financial contributions at this time. Instead, we are eager to learn from your experiences—those invaluable lessons you wish someone had shared with you when undertaking challenges, such as building a facility, securing targeted funding, managing finances, or crafting an impactful narrative. We are also particularly interested in your perspectives on navigating the political landscape while pursuing ambitious projects, such as launching and executing a capital campaign.

During our time together, we will briefly introduce our mission at TaskForce Prevention and Community Services, a Westside organization committed to empowering primarily Black and LGBTQIA+ youth. Our vision is to establish a state-of-the-art youth center in the Austin neighborhood by 2026, a project that requires raising $6.7 million.
