Wired Different: Black Girls Shaping AI

Girls Like Me Project, Inc. is hosting Wired Different™: Black Girls Shaping AI — a free, full-day experience for girls and young women ages 11–19 at Shine Bright Community Center, 8560 S. Cottage Grove, Chicago, IL. Doors open at 9:45 AM and programming runs from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
This is not a coding camp. This is not a lecture. Wired Different™ is a full day where girls will:
• Learn how AI actually works — and who it often leaves out
• Explore the herstory of Black women innovators who shaped the technology we use today
• Build real career tools using AI platforms
• Leave with something tangible they created themselves
All of this is free. All girls are welcome. Space is limited, so early registration is encouraged.
