Come join us for a fun evening at The Olive Branch Café with Michelle from Robins Hobby Cafe where you will learn how to make wire wrapped jewellery. It's a great opportunity to unleash your inner artist and create unique jewellery pieces that you can wear or gift to loved ones. No experience is necessary, as you will guided through the process step by step. We hope to see you there!
Learn how to:
• Use a ring mandrel and size pieces
• What type of metal and gauge works best for different projects
• Use beads and wire to make stylish wire wrapped jewellery
• Shape and wrap wire to make a pendant and learn techniques to make the clasps for your necklace
• Harden your metal and give texture using chasing techniques.
What to expect:
• By the end of this class, you will be able to create your own unique & stylish wire jewellery pieces
• Each participant will make and take home, a ring, pendant necklace and earrings (or additional ring if you don’t want to make earrings)
• Participants don't need to bring anything other than good vibes!
• All materials and supplies are provided.
• This is a great class for anyone who wants to learn a new craft, or who wants to add something new to their jewellery creations.
