Winters, Nebraska

Join us for the premiere screening of Winters, Nebraska at The World Theatre in Kearney, followed by a Q&A with director Eric Delehoy and lead actor Michael Ridley.
After sixteen years in San Francisco and the loss of his partner, Jack returns to rural Nebraska to care for his ailing grandmother—and confront the life he left behind. Winters, Nebraska follows Jack as he navigates grief, strained family ties, and rekindled relationships, ultimately discovering that home never truly leaves you. Set against the sweeping prairies and rugged beauty of the Nebraska panhandle, Winters, Nebraska is a quiet, powerful story of identity, healing, and the courage to live authentically. It’s a film about coming home—to a place, to a family, and most importantly, to yourself.
