SAVE THE DATE! The planning for the Winterfest party has begun! For those who are new to RMS, this is the best night of the year. This is an evening of dancing, games, winning prizes, food, and a variety of activities. The party will take place for all 6th, 7th and 8th graders on the evening of Friday, January 17th from 5:30-8:30 at RMS. This event is for middle school students only (no siblings). Here is a list of the possible events taking place throughout the evening:
- DJ
- Face Painting
- Karaoke
- Trivia
- Art Project
- Photo Booth
- Movie rooms
- Concessions
- Sports in the gym
- Raffle Prizes
- Board Games
- Quiet Space/Relax/Read
Admission to the party will be $10. We will be selling tickets starting a week prior to the event. This covers the cost of admission, a piece of pizza, cookie, chips, and water, and one ticket to put towards the chance to win the prize of choice. There will be additional snacks and treats for sale as well.
We are starting to collect items for the raffle prizes. If you are willing to create a gift basket, donate a prize, ask a Richfield business for a donation, donate gift cards or other great ideas, please reach out to us. Prizes that we have given away at previous Winterfests:
- Stanley Water Cups
- Fitbit
- Earbuds
- Alexa
- LED lights for room
- Squishmallows
- Tie Blankets
- Basketball/Football
- Gift Cards
We will also need many volunteers (both staff and families) to make this night successful. We will be sending out a Sign Up Genius later in December.
