Please send a picture of your child to the children's librarian Ms. Tia at tedwards.detroitpubliclibrary.org. This picture will be included in the scene; if you have more than one child participating, please send an individual picture of each child to be printed.

Activity
Info: We will begin with a brief introduction of the project and cutting out our picture and picking out what figurines to place inside our snow globe. With the help of an adult and the librarians we will hot glue the figures to the "top" of the snow globe. Lastly we will fill our globe with snow to finish creating out scene. Lastly we will decorate the outside of the snow globe with a ribbon to bring it all together.

Story
Info: After our wonderful craft we will read two stories, the first is " A Christmas Sweater for Nina," about a cute cat with an unraveling red sweater. What will happen to her and her now red yarn? Then we will see what Annabelle can make with her marvelous never ending box of yarn in "Extra Yarn," by Mac Barnett.
