Winter Wonderlab Science Weekends in December
Saturdays: 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Sundays: 12 p.m. - 5 p.m.
Experience the weather ingredients that make crazy winter storms. Explore how water changes states from gas to liquid to ice. Find out why the Florida climate is drastically different than many other places around the world.
Exhibits, Shows and Demos: Discover how Earth’s axis causes seasons, make-and-take your own snowflake and experience a winter Nitro show. Experience a sensory winter wonderland with a sock skating rink and winter lights.
Animal Encounters: Meet our resident animals and discover what they do during a Florida “winter.”

Career Connections: Explore careers in technology, environmental science and more!
Just for early learners (ages 0-6): Young explorers will observe how snowstorms can appear in a jar, experience misty bubbles and create winter magic watercolors.
