Come celebrate the holiday season at the Idaho State Museum! The museum is hosting the public over three nights to explore Winter Wonder Village and participate in special programming including festive crafts, music, and activities while enjoying the illuminated historic houses located in Pioneer Village.Participate in a special after-hours Family Second Saturday. Enjoy a discounted admission rate for both indoor museum exhibits and outdoor Winter Wonder Village display of $5 per person. ISHS Members and children under 5 years old are free. Special wintry-themed crafts, a snowy-themed scavenger hunt with prizes, and hot chocolate are included. Other concessions will be available for purchase. Programming is specifically designed for family audiences.
This December’s special edition of Family Second Saturday will feature a jolly guest!
Join us for this ho-ho-holiday event to hear Santa read "The Night Before Christmas." Stick around after the story to visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus.
Santa is free to visit with museum admission. You can take your own photo so bring a camera or phone! Donations are welcome and appreciated.
Santa will be reading the story at 5:30pm. Attendees can visit with Santa until 7:30pm.
