As the winter invites us to turn inward, join Master Herbalist and forager Kerri for an immersive afternoon exploring the deep, sustaining wisdom of medicinal mushrooms. This workshop is a unique opportunity to slow down and nourish yourself before the holiday rush, focusing on two of the most revered fungal allies: the calming, resilient Reishi and the focusing, neuro-supportive Lion's Mane.
Fueled by an incredible personal harvest, Kerri will guide you through the entire process of working with these powerful mushrooms.
You will learn:
Foundational health benefits and traditional uses of Reishi, Lion's Mane & more...
How to make potent mushroom decoctions and dual-extraction tinctures to capture both their water-soluble and alcohol-soluble compounds.
Practical tips for easily incorporating these mushrooms into your daily wellness routine, especially in warming winter foods like broths and soups.
Insights from an experienced forager on how to identify these mushrooms in the wild, focusing on key features, habitat, and sustainable harvesting practices.
Plus additional lesser-known mushrooms to look for in the forest (because everyone is looking for chaga and morels!)

With over a decade of experience, she specializes in making the wisdom of plants and fungi accessible and practical, often sharing from her own abundant harvests and deep, intuitive relationship with the natural world.

Workshop fee is non-transferable less than 24 hours before the event.
If you let Kerri know you cannot make it to class with at least 48 hours notice, you can use your payment towards another class or service (must be used within 6 months).
