Travel to treeline on a winter Cog Railway journey with educators from Mount Washington Observatory. Ride to Waumbek Station, an alpine meadow just below treeline, where you’ll explore winter weather and alpine ecology, collect and compare real-world data, and learn how scientists study Mount Washington’s extreme conditions. Warm up with hot cocoa and take in stunning winter views. Space is limited to 30 participants. Participants will earn 2 hours of professional development.
