Winter Warmer 2026

Join Bankside Open Spaces Trust for our annual Winter Warmer in the historic Red Cross Garden.

Our community garden will be lit up for a cozy evening of celebration, creativity, and seasonal cheer.Every year, we host this gathering around the birthday of our garden's visionary founder, Octavia Hill. This year, we invite you to step into the warmth of the garden to connect with neighbours and enjoy the simple joys of nature. What to expect:

• Wreath Making: Craft your own seasonal decoration using fresh greenery provided by our team.
• Plate Painting: Get creative and paint a festive keepsake plate to take home.
• Mulled Wine and Treats: Warm up with a glass of aromatic mulled wine and seasonal mince pies.
• Live Music: Settle into the festive atmosphere with live music echoing through the garden.

Entry is free, and all are welcome, but please book a ticket so we have an idea of visitor numbers. All crafting materials will be provided, but spaces for activities may fill up quickly. Please dress warmly as this event takes place entirely outdoors in our beautiful community garden.
