Learn to identify native trees in Toronto even without their leaves. This hands-on winter workshop will focus on key ID features such as bark patterns, buds, twigs, and overall tree shape. You will get to practice using simple dichotomous keys to tell common species apart build confidence in your identification skills. Designed for beginners and curious learners, this workshop combines indoor learning with outdoor exploration in High Park to deepen your understanding of forest ecology and strengthen your naturalist knowledge.
