In this hands-on workshop, you will learn about winter sowing and how to create your own mini greenhouses using upcycled gallon jugs! All supplies will be provided.
The first half of the workshop will be focused on how to harvest and process seeds from native plants like Milkweed, Penstemon, and Bee Balm. In the second half we will prepare our upcycled greenhouses using some of the seeds that we harvested. Instructions will be included for how to make more greenhouses at home!
All ages are welcome! Anyone under 14 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
