Winter Sowing Workshop

HarvestShare instructors will introduce you to the science behind sowing seeds in the winter to jumpstart your growing season in the spring. We'll provide everything you'll need to create multiple containers with your choice of vegetables and flower seeds selected from our extensive inventory. Save money and time by starting your own seedlings without the cost of growing them indoors with grow lights and heat mats. This fun, hands on-event is sure to get you growing. Your spring garden starts this winter!

This event will be held in the heated garage of a private home. Ample street parking is available. Come early to check-in and enjoy some warm beverages and sweet treats.

As an added bonus, participants will be offered early registration and entry to our FREE SeedShare and Food Gardening Expo to be held on Saturday Feb 7 from 2-5pm at the Mid-county Community Recreation Center.
