Winter Solstice Tea Ceremony

The solstice invites us to pause and find the Light within, as well as to get clear on our intentions for the next turn of the seasonal wheel.

Tea ceremony is this sacred space where we can slow down and settle into a quiet, grounded place inside ourselves, held by ritual and with the medicine of Tea as our guide.

Tea is a gentle teacher who meets us exactly where we are, clearing a pathway to stillness, presence, remembrance and a sense of profound connection. The ancient ritual of Cha Dao, or "the way of tea", is about living life in harmony with nature and ceremonially unifies all the elements in a dance of water, fire, earth and space. The ceremony itself is held in silence to mindfully connect us back to our light, our breath, our senses, and the wisdom of the tea — slowing our minds, opening our hearts, and enlivening our spirits with a deeper connection to self, nature and each other.

Each ceremony is unique and deeply moving. Limited to 8 to keep the intimate nature of the practice flowing.

Ceremony will be followed by a guided tour of Fox Point Farm’s 53 row herbal medicine garden and we’ll enjoy gluten-free herbal muffins made with ingredients from the farm.

Please note that the living tea being served does contain a small amount of caffeine.
