About this Event
A free, accessible, slow-paced practice for building warmth and mindful movement during the darkest time of the year.
If winter feels heavy, slow, or overwhelming, this ritual is an invitation to see the season differently.
Winter isn’t the absence of light — it’s a quieter, inner kind of light we often forget to notice. Like trees that shed their leaves and send their energy into the roots, we too are called to rest deeply, heal from within, and prepare for our own spring renewal.
The Winter Solstice — the longest night of the year — is a sacred turning point where darkness becomes a source of intuition, softness, and renewal. This class is designed for anyone navigating seasonal affective disorder, winter burnout, emotional , or the quiet ache of the colder months.
Through slow, intentional movement, warming breathwork, grounding poses, and beginner-friendly inversions, we’ll build inner heat and reconnect with the light that lives within each of us — even in the deepest winter.
We’ll end with a Winter Solstice Yoga Nidra + Shadow Work Ritual to gently meet, integrate, and honor the parts of ourselves that winter reveals.
If this time of year feels heavy for you, this space is for you. Come as you are — winter self-care edition
