Join Ranger Eric to explore the park, welcome the winter season, and learn about the science and cultural traditions of the winter solstice. We will walk along the ADA trail, across the pedestrian bridge, and onto the island.This program is recommended for audiences of all ages. Please meet at the Bluebird Barn at 9:30 AM. Be prepared to walk 2.5 miles over both paved and unpaved surfaces. For more details about the route we will take, read the Essential Eligibility Criteria.
The cost of this program is $8.00 per participant. Children under 5 are free with a paying adult.
Please come prepared with good walking shoes, sunscreen, and a water bottle. Pets are not allowed on programs, except service animals.
