Winter Solstice Hike

The Winter Solstice is a time for reflection, renewal, and hope. December 21, 2025 at 10:03 AM marks the shortest day of the year since the vertical rays of the sun are in the Southern Hemisphere. We'll hike to celebrate the return of sunlight. The hike begins at the preserve's main entrance (0.7 mile north of Hall's on the River on Athens-Boonesboro Road).
