Winter Solstice Gathering led by Kelly Whitaker.An evening mixed with Somatic movement, intentional breath work, prompted journaling, guided meditation + crafting. Each of these practices are designed to help move out any stagnant energy from the body so that you can enter into this new season with a clear + conscious heart space. You ARE worthy. Collectively, we shall create a Winter Solstice centerpiece using fresh cut greens of Pine, Cedar, Holly, freshly cut lavender, dried orange slices, cinnamon sticks, fairy lights + velvet ribbon. Supplies are included.Life is a gift.
The Winter Solstice symbolizes the return of LIGHT. It’s natures way of reminding us that after any darkness, light will emerge. Think of your journey to arrive here on Earth. You were birthed from the darkness in the womb, arriving into the LIGHT. With each passing day, more light will arrive in our external world. However, as the weather becomes cold, this is also an opportunity to honor going inward to rest within our homes, within ourselves, our bodies + our minds in the coming months. I want you to know that even in the depths of your high + lows this past year, you are human. And the human experience can be heavy at times. Yet you are thriving, surviving, here to be seen, held + supported.
