Winter Solstice Community Celildh

Following on from the packed house and big smiles at the Raglan Folk Festival ceilidh, we're doing it again!
Celebrate the shortest day of the year with music, dancing and community at our family-friendly Winter Solstice Ceilidh at Raglan Town Hall.
With live music from West of the Divvy and dances guided by caller Fiona Murdoch from Dance Folkus, this will be a joyful afternoon of easy-to-learn community dancing for all ages. No experience needed — just bring your warm spirit and willingness to join in.
Expect lively folk tunes, shared laughter, twirling kids, stomping feet and a delicious shared soup lunch as we gather together to mark the turning of the season and welcome back the light.

The start of the event will be especially great for younger kids, so come early if you're bringing the whole whānau.
