Winter Solstice marks the longest night of the year, a time when the world quiets, and nature enters its dreaming slumber. In this sacred pause, we too are called to rest, to let our awareness gently turn inward, and to welcome inspiration that stirs from the hidden depths of our souls. Rest is the seed from which new dreams and growth will awaken in the spring.
Join our Solstice gathering and indulge in a dreamy winter atmosphere. We’ll share a candlelit, gentle yoga practice honoring the sun’s slow return, weaving in moments of meditation and reflection. The evening will be enriched by a heart-opening cacao ceremony, inviting you to sip warm, ceremonial cacao (a traditional plant medicine revered for opening the heart, deepening presence, and connecting us to the wisdom within).
Afterward, settle into a soothing meditation and sound bath designed to nurture your spirit and attune you to the profound symbolism of winter’s turning. We’ll have treats to snack on and all the warmth of a community gathered in the stillness of the season.
Please bring a journal or notebook, a favorite pillow or blanket for extra comfort, and a yoga mat.
