Please bring your family and friends and join us on the Winter Solstice this year, for a ceremony at the base of the stairs to the beach at Bay View Park in Milwaukee, to intentionally connect in a larger spiritual community of our city, celebrating this nadir of the year’s energies........
Plan:
1. 3:00 Gathering at the lake at the bottom of the steps at Bay View Park beach. Making an altar. Drumming.
2. 3:30 Opening the ceremony at the lake. Land recognition, intentions, calling on directions.
3. Ritual in community around the nadir of energies.
4. Sharing circle.
5. 4:30 Closing the ceremony.
6. Singing and story time.
