Come celebate this special time of year where we turn inward for the winter months ahead, honoring our inseperable connection to nature's cycles. We will be getting cozy & warm with a mushroom veggie broth provided by Cook Forage Feast before going into a sweet hOm Sound Bath featuring Sam Johnson on the Cello.
Who is hOm?
hOm is a unique and immersive sound bath experience based out of Columbus, Ohio where modern sound therapy, traditional sound healing, and musical composition all come together providing a space for rest, relaxation, and healing. hOm creates a multi-practitioner sound healing environment using a wide range of acoustic and electronic instruments, atmospheric sound synthesis, and immersive performance to create a tranquil soundscape that washes over you to encourage a sense of safety, stillness, and connection. Combining ancient sound healing principles and recent studies in the benefits of sound therapy, we focus on creating an experience that meets you where you are and asks you to listen deeper than ever before.
When
December 21st| Arrive anytime between 1 and 1:50 pm | Sound bath will begin promptly at 2 pm and entry will no longer be permitted.

We recommend metered parking on Goodale St. coming from Park st./High st. (or shhh free parking in Goodale Park) and a short walk to The Sanctuary. There is street parking along Dennison as well as nearby streets (Poplar Ave & Collins Ave) Additionally, across from The Sanctuary there is free parking along Goodale St. and street parking on Neil Ave. PLEASE SEE THE PARKING MAP AT THE BOTTOM OF THE EVENT FOR REFERENCE
What to bring
Bring what you would like to lie on during the ceremony. i.e. yoga mat, pillow, padding, blanket, etc.
A blanket is encouraged because of the variability of the temperature in the room. Everyone has different preferences and we want you to be comfortable.
Bring a journal and pen so you can reflect on anything that is brought up during the ceremony.
We will have a space where you can place objects you would like to be charged with the energy of the night. (small items like crystals, card decks, jewelrey, and other sacred/special items)
*If you forget an object at the charging station - we have a lost and found. Please email [email protected] if you need to recover lost property from one of our events.
The Nest
We have a comfortable, vibey section where you can sit, meditate, and/or create and write during the sound bath.
You are encouraged to bring your own art supplies if you'd like to create in the space, but there are a variety of art supplies provided.
This section is limited and requires the purchase of a Nest ticket.

Sensory information
What is a sound bath?
Information for those sensitive or potentially allergic to sensory tools involved in the ceremony:
The ceremony will involve the burning of herbal smudge sticks, palo santo, and incense.
A variety of colors will be used for the lighting as well as projectors. We have eye masks available to help block out any additional or distracting lighting during the ceremony.
This being a sound bath - there will be a wide range of aural stimulus including musical instruments, noise makers, and environmental sounds.
If any of this information changes, it will be mentioned at the start of the sound bath. ACCESSIBILITY & AGE The Sanctuary is an older building and the front enterance is a flight of stairs. There is a ramp enterance around the Goodale Park side/back of the building for accessibility. We want to make you as comfortable as possible, so please let us know how we can help. We love creating a space for community, but our Full Moon Sound Baths are for ages 10+
*Occasionally Sound Baths can bring up some deep feelings or thoughts that can be a lot to process in the moment. We have an on hand coach to help with these experiences.
