Winter Solstice Celebration

Join us at the astronomical clock behind the Hanging Rock Shelter to observe and celebrate the winter solstice sunrise. On the shortest day of the year, we will celebrate the fact that the sun will now end its journey south, and begin its march north, towards longer days and spring renewal. Join us to mark this date not with a wall calendar, but with a fire and a sunrise to celebrate the changes.
