Please note that Greyfield Wood will be closed in December so this year Winter Solstice will be at Beacon Hill Woods, also a woodland trust property. If wet we will have a tarp shelter. Please bring a chair if you have one and as usual a cup for a hot drink.
Pause together round the fire and take in the woodland at dusk at this dark depth of the year, to mark the turning of the earth with companionship, music and stories.
As usual you are very welcome to bring and share your readings, poems, instrument, ideas, games, stories; this is a collaborative space. You are also welcome to come and just be peaceful by the fire, with the companionship of others around you.
Although the gathering will emerge in its own way, most likely in the mix you will enjoy Helen and Pat on melodian, Janet sharing a story, the Skylarks singing harmonies and offering rounds to join in with, reading of poems and playing of instruments.
