Winter Solstice Celebration will be on Sunday, December 21st at 5:00 PM, weather permitting.
For many hundreds of years humans have watched with fear as the days become shorter and shorter, the nights longer and longer, and winter arrives.
We will gather in the canal, light candles and a bonfire to lure the sun back with its warmth and light. Hot cider and light refreshments will be served.
All are welcome to this free event, but reservations must be made by e-mailing Sally at the above address or by calling 570 253-3240 by noon on December 20th.
