First Americans Museum (FAM) invites you to the Winter Solstice Celebration on Saturday, December 21 from 3 to 6 PM. This FREE event on the shortest day of the year celebrates renewal and the change of seasons with storytelling, a new immersive tunnel experience, and more!
Enjoy an artist mini-market, hands-on art activities, cultural presentations, and explore the interpretive walk on the FAM Mound. At about 5:10 pm, watch the sun set through the mound tunnel, followed by a walk-through light and sound experience in the tunnel itself.
Tickets are not required to attend this event. If you wish to visit the galleries, you may purchase admission online or at the museum’s Info Desks. The galleries and FAMstore will close at 5 p.m.
