Winter Solstice Cacao Ceremony
In Traditional Chinese Medicine, the key to live a long healthy life is to align your energy with nature. The easiest way to do this is by tuning into the seasons. Yin is a condensing, sinking
energy. When you look at nature, animals hibernate. This is a time to pause, nourish yourself, and slow down.
In this Qigong flow you will align with the Yin energy practicing movements that "sink" and "rise". You will embody the Bear, the spirit animal of Winter. Bears know how to conserve their energy
through hibernation and stay warm. You will strengthen your kidneys and Yin energy in the body. The kidneys relate to the Water element which is the most Yin element.
We will end the practice with the Metta Qigong, a Buddhist meditation sending Love and Compassion. You can “send” it anywhere, to a loved one, a pet, the world, the planet Earth, or
even to yourself! You also deserve love and compassion.
In the second part of the workshop, you will be then guided into “ Your Sacred Soul Meditation”, connecting you with the web of life for nourishment and inner peace. You will then dive into the sound journey which is pure relaxation with the sacred sounds of the gong, Tibetan and crystal singing bowls, chimes, flute and other sound healing instruments.
During this busy time, it is always nice to stop for a few moments, breathe, slow down, rest, and receive harmonious sound frequencies to savor this season.
