The Winter Solstice, the longest night of the year, is a time of celebration and introspection, surrender and rebirth. It is a return to the light, to our light.
The practice of a Solstice Mala (108 rounds of Sun Salutation; one for every bead on the Mala) is a beautiful way to set new intentions and release what no longer serves us as we prepare to shift out of the darkness and into longer and brighter days.
