Winter Showcase & Dance Party hosted by Oakland Queer Dance Studio

Come join us for a night of celebration and fun at our Winter Showcase & Dance Party!

We start the evening with a Beginner West Coast Swing dance lesson at 6:45 PM. The party kicks off at 7:30 PM with music to a variety of dances: country-western two-step & waltz, east coast swing, west coast swing, nightclub two-step, a few line dances and more! No partner needed--we will ask each other to dance.

Then, throughout the evening, we will pause to enjoy a few performances by groups and ballroom dance couples, some of whom are preparing to participate in the Gay Games in June 2026. We will cheer them on!

There will be snacks and refreshments.

There will be photography for some of the event.

Who: For LGBTQIA+ dancers, non-dancers, allies and friends--the more the merrier!

Dress: Comfy shoes or dance shoes, "holiday-fun" attire.

Cost: Sliding scale $15 - $30. You may buy your tickets here on Eventbrite or at the door. Either way, we appreciate your support!
