The Little Old Toll House | Maidstone, EN

Join us for a gentle walk along the river from Allington Lock towards Maidstone, and back again.
Despite the cold, there's always lots of wildlife to spot along the river.
Meet at the Little Old Toll House ready to walk at 10am.
We will return back along the same route. End time is approximate. Walkers are welcome to join/leave the group anywhere along the towpath.
Everyone welcome.
MEETING/FINISH POINT: Little Old Toll House, Allington Lock.
ACCESS:
IMPORTANT: The car park at the lock is not for public use. The nearest parking on Allington side of the river is at the open space at the bottom of Castle Road (first right past the ACA) - approximately a 10 minute walk to the meeting point. Please bear in mind the hill walk on the road down to the lock is steep in places.

There are no toilets on site. The nearest toilets along the route are at The Malta Inn.
