Winter ParkBathe walk in Crystal Palace Park.

ParkBathe is a citizen-science project providing mindful walks and nature connection as a means to improve the health and wellbeing of people who might not normally engage in wellness activities. ParkBathe uses aspect of forest bathing, forest school and mindfulness and is simply walking slowly in a local green space whilst noticing our surroundings (no water is involved!)

The 1 hr guided sessions consist of small groups (max 12 people) in Crystal Palace Park.

* For our Winter Walks we recommend wearing warm layers, thick socks and hats/gloves as we walk slowly.

These sessions are offered free with the option to DONATE. We ask you to pause a moment before you book and consider if you can afford a donation ticket today. Donating allows us to continue providing these walks to those who cannot afford to pay.

MEETING PLACE: We meet inside the park at the Sydenham Gate entrance a 10 min walk from the Thicket Rd car park & Information Centre. There is a small car park at Sydenham Gate. .

CITIZEN SCIENCE:

Over the last year we have taken over 300 people on walks and collected a wealth of health data. These results are currently being published in two papers.
