Step into a magical woodland this winter at Hillfields Park Community Centre! Created & performed by Hillfields residents.
The Holly King is a story about balance: between dark & light, rest & growth, winter & summer. Drawing on the magic of Celtic tradition & the changing of the seasons, the production invites people of all ages to come together in midwinter to reflect, rejoice, & look forward to brighter days ahead.
The musical has been lovingly inspired by Celtic folklore & by Deborah L. Duncan, whose book sparked the idea to bring this timeless seasonal story to Hillfields.

A Christmas fair is taking place before the Winter Musical; the fair is a separate event & is free. The fair is 2.30-4.30pm, look forward to Christmas crafts, stalls and seasonal food.
The musical will start promptly at 5pm, please arrive at 4.30pm for refreshments & to be seated.
Seating is in rows with some children's seats at the front.
