The City of Waterbury will be hosting the 7th Annual Winter is the Pits Event. This is a free winter festival that is hosted around the historic Stone House Pavilion in Hamilton Park.All residents have the opportunity to have a free shuttle from the Hamilton Ave Commuter Parking lot to the event.
At this year's event, there will be train rides for kids, 12 cozy firepits, a large community bonfire, marshmallow toasting for S’mores, music, fun games, arts and crafts.
Food and drinks will be available for purchase at your own cost, including from food trucks and a mobile pub for fireside craft beer and cocktails.
