About this Event

Winter Fruit Tree Pruning
Saturday, February 14th -- 10:00 am to 12:30 pm at Alemany Farm
Instructor: Abby Bell & Vanessa Lieu

This is an IN-PERSON workshop.

Come to Alemany Farm to learn all about the basics of when, why, and how to winter prune apples and stone fruit trees. This class will focus on the basics of tree biology and care to encourage a healthy and productive fruit tree. You will get hands-on practice with our trees in the field.

Note: This class will not focus on citrus trees, though the high level basics of citrus pruning can be discussed.

Abby Bell, Alemany Farm Director and Vanessa Lieu, Alemany Farm Manager have over 15 years of combined experience pruning fruit trees. They love working with the land, trees, plants and community at Alemany Farm and are looking forward to sharing their experience with you.
