Winter Formal: Phantom of the Opera Masquerade Ball

A night of mystery, music, and moonlit elegance.
Step into a night inspired by candlelit opera houses, sweeping ballgowns, and music that makes you want to dance until midnight. This is our most elegant, most dramatic event of the year — a masquerade where a little mystery meets a lot of glamour.
New to the ballroom? Don't worry — everyone starts somewhere, even behind a mask. We'll be right there to help you feel confident on the floor.
Dress Code? Black, white, and blood-red accents. Masquerade masks (the more dramatic, the better), gowns that sweep the floor, sharp tuxedos, velvet, lace, and anything that whispers "old opera house glamour." This is the night to go all out and add a little mystery to your look.
Why You'll Love It:
🕯️ A ballroom transformed into a haunted opera house — candlelight, shadows, and eerie elegance around every corner
🎭 Masked mystery meets grace — dance behind your mask and let a little intrigue into the night
💀 Simple, elegant steps taught by instructors who won't judge you for two left feet (unlike the critics in Box 5)
🥂 Music, laughter, and company so good it might just lift the Phantom's curse — no experience required
📅 Date: January 23, 2027
📍 Location: The ARC's upstairs ballroom at 251 Main St (5th & Main St) in Downtown Winona. Enter the building using the ramp entrance (South entrance), it's on the side of the building facing Wesley United Methodist Church.
⏰ Time: 7-8 pm: Waltz & Tango Lesson, 8-10:30 pm: Ballroom Dance
💲 Cost (cash or card): Students (18+) = $10, Adults = $15
Put on your mask, embrace the drama, and let the music of the night carry you across the floor.
(Our music is lively – Dances are smoke-free – Zero dance experience required – Couples and singles of ALL ages welcome!)
