6-WEEK 5 ELEMENT QIGONG COURSEWednesdays from 3 June • 6:00pm – 7:00pm
Join us for a progressive 6-week journey into the powerful practice of 5 Element Qigong, where each week builds towards learning and embodying the complete flowing set by the end of the course.
Suitable for both beginners and continuing students, this course offers a practical and deeply restorative introduction to Taoist Medical Qigong through movement, breathwork, meditation, and energy cultivation.
WHAT IS QIGONG?
Qigong literally means “energy cultivation.” It is an ancient Taoist practice that combines mindful movement, breathwork, and meditation to cultivate vitality, resilience, and inner balance.
Rooted in Classical Chinese Medicine, Taoist philosophy, and observation of nature, Qigong has been practiced for centuries as a system for harmonising body, mind, and spirit.
White Tiger Qigong integrates these ancient practices with modern sport and exercise science, fascia research, and breathwork to create a system that is both deeply traditional and highly relevant for modern life.
WHY 5 ELEMENT QIGONG?
This course will focus specifically on 5 Element Qigong — one of the core systems within White Tiger Qigong.
Across the 6 weeks, you will progressively learn movements connected to the five major organ systems and meridian pathways, developing greater awareness, mobility, emotional balance, and energetic flow.
By the end of the course, students will have learned how to practice the entire 5 Element Qigong set as a complete flowing sequence.
This dynamic practice combines:
* Expansive and contracting movements
* Spiral and wringing actions through the fascia
* Breath-led movement
* Grounding and rooting techniques
* Emotional balancing practices connected to the 5 Elements
The movements are designed to stimulate circulation, release tension, improve mobility, and cultivate Qi flow throughout the body. White Tiger Qigong draws on both Daoist principles and modern movement science, including fascia and kinetic chain theory.
