From musical drama to comedy, from historical cinema to biographical storytelling, each screening offers a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in Italian language and culture in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Comandante (by Edoardo De Angelis 117 min war - drama)
Comandante is a historical war drama inspired by true events during the Second World War. The film tells the story of Italian naval commander Salvatore Todaro, captain of the submarine Cappellini, who makes the extraordinary decision to rescue the survivors of a Belgian merchant ship that his crew has just sunk. Choosing humanity over military protocol, Todaro risks his own vessel and crew to uphold his belief that, even in war, compassion and honour must come first. The film explores themes of courage, morality, leadership, and the difficult choices people face in times of conflict.
