The Winter Celebrations festival is inspired by holiday traditions from around the world. It is a free, family-friendly festival that features different performances and family art activities each day. Saturday, December 14, 2024
10 am–4 pm, Sculpture Hall
• Design a wooden snowman inspired by a work of art from the Museum’s collection in the Create Lab.
• Jump around in the larger-than-life snow globe ball pit.
• Learn a wintery origami fold with the Japan America Society of St. Louis.
10:30–11 am, Grigg Gallery
Join the Ice Queen for a story time in the galleries.
11:30–noon, The Farrell Auditorium
Experience excerpts from the Nutcracker Ballet with the Dance Center of Kirkwood.
1–1:30 pm, Grigg Gallery
Watch a puppet show in the galleries.
2–2:30 pm, Grigg Gallery
Listen to a Kamishibai storytelling performance by the Japan America Society of St. Louis.
3–3:30 pm, The Farrell Auditorium
Watch the Radhanika Dance School perform a traditional Indian dance.
