Part 1: Candle Making with Diane from Three Wicks Candles
Begin the experience by learning the art of candle making. Diane will guide you step-by-step through the process of hand-pouring your very own 100% soy wax candle.
• Customize Your Scent: Choose from a wide variety of fragrance oils or create a custom blend to craft a candle that reflects your unique style.
• Candle Care & Tips: Gain professional insights on how to burn and care for your candle to maximize its life and scent throw.
While your candle sets, enjoy a brief break before moving on to the next creative endeavor!
Part 2: Swag Making with Sherri from IdleWild Designs Canada
Sherri will teach you how to design and create an elegant, 3-foot-long, holiday-season swag. Your gorgeous everlasting greenery decor piece will have a multitude of use options!
Decorating options using your swag:
• place on your dining table, coffee table, entrance way table or countertop/island
• hang vertically on a door or narrow wall
• hang horizontally on a fireplace mantle or above a doorway
Learn to design and wire an elegant, everlasting-greenery swag using lush cashmere pine as your base. Add contrast and texture with boughs of everlasting spruce, cedar, fir and two varieties of eucalyptus. Add elements of interest to the array of rich natural green tones, including pinecones, and some vintage-style gold metal bells.
Your cascading hand-crafted swag will offer a sense of sophistication and refined elegance for the season, perfect for your home or as a thoughtful gift.
• Design Techniques: Learn the basics of swag construction, and how to arrange greenery and floral elements for balance and elegance.
• Personalized Creation: Add your unique flair by designing specifically for your own decor style, and truly make it a one-of-a-kind piece with additional floral elements provided by Sherri during the workshop.
