Winter by the Wetland Hike

Join LEC staff for this exploratory hike into Lyonia Preserve’s large ephemeral wetland. You’ll hear about the plant and animal species that are dependent upon this intermittent body of water. We will be looking for signs of winter along our trek. Participants should bring water, wear long pants, and closed-toed shoes that may get wet depending on the conditions. Plan on hiking through tall grasses. This program is recommended for ages 10 and up.
