Winter Break Guided Nature Hike - Saturday, December 12

Join us our Kettle Run Road East trailhead on December 12, 2026, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm to take a break from Winter stress and connect with nature in our "Gateway to the Pinelands" Enjoy the peace and quiet of the woods with our ambassadors as we hike 3.5-4 miles in the Black Run Preserve.
Our trails have hard and soft sand, slight elevations, roots, and stumps and some muddy and wet areas. Hiking boots, sturdy shoes, or waterproof boots are recommended. Please dress for the weather and come prepared with water and bug spray. Porta Potty is available at the beginning and end of the hike.
DATE: Saturday, December 12, 2026
TIME: 10:00 am to noon (Meet at the welcome table at 9:45 am to check in.)
WHERE TO MEET: Kettle Run Road East Trailhead Entrance. This is the main trailhead for Black Run Preserve.
WHAT TO WEAR: Dress for the weather and bring a water bottle. Hiking boots, sturdy shoes, or waterproof boots are recommended.
DETAILS: This is a social/informational hike to familiarize participants with the trails of the Black Run Preserve and the Friends of the Black Run Preserve community.
